Rising Sun Ranch
Our Trainer- Allie Crisp
For many years now Allie has been a friend and invaluable asset to us and the many horses here at The Ranch. We have watched her skills as a rider, horse trainer and equine educator strengthen and grow as she has transitioned from a student in the local 4H program to a Leader and independent trainer. We are proud to endorse her as our Resident Horse Trainer and Riding Instructor.

Allie is an Alumni of the Gem County 4H Program, participating from 2008-2016, and has won multiple Top Horse, Top Arabian and Year End High Point Awards. She has won Grand Champion Showmanship four times and Reserve Champion Showmanship three times with her Arabian mare Emma. Allie assisted in rescuing Emma from abuse and starvation in 2008 as a 12 year old and transformed her into to a willing and talented Horse of All Trades, participating and competing over the years in Jumping, Trail, Western Pleasure, Barrel Racing and Gaming, Liberty and Tackless riding all the way to carrying Allie as Meridian Lions Senior Rodeo Queen for the 2019-2020 season. Emma was the first ride of many of our students, including our Ranch's children, and passed away after a long and wonderful life in 2021, and is missed evey day.

Allie excels at horse knowledge and education from her time spent in 4H and FFA. She has won local and national horse judging awards and is often requested to judge local shows within the 4H program and the Treasure Valley Paint Horse Club. Her expertise makes her the perfect person to instruct new equestrians, of any age, from just learning the ropes to navigating the often complex world of horsemanship.
Allie is currently taking students for private riding lessons here at The Ranch. Her focus is on building a solid foundation of basics before moving onto higher challenges, and her training disciplines include most Western riding styles, English flat work basics, Hunter Jumper and Show Jumping.
Allie also currently has openings for horse training and has worked with horses of all ages and disciplines. All her horses in training are boarded here at The Ranch. Contact her by sending us a message through the link below.
